What is a Galaxy Projector?
A galaxy projector is a type of projector which specialises in stars and nebula formations. Many people use them as mood lights, night lights or as a decorative piece. It's a way to bring the night sky at its mysteries inside. Some also feature educational features to help you understand the image your looking at.
They work most effectively in dark rooms projected against the wall or ceiling.
How big an area will it cover?
Coverage varies between our projectors but generally speaking, higher end models feature brighter bulbs and therefore have increased coverage. However, any projector from us will work well in most bedrooms. We don't currently offer industry sized projectors which are capable of lighting stadium or cinema-sized walls but watch this space!
Are plugs and cables included?
Cables are always included but it's important to note that most are powered using a USB cable and therefore a USB plug will often be needed (any USB charger will work). We believe using a plug to power a galaxy projector is one of the best ways you will ever use a socket.
Please double check the product page to confirm details.
Do I need WiFi?
Only for those projectors which use an app as a remote control. Be sure to check the product's details too on the product page, if you're unsure, feel free to reach out to us and ask.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping to the UK takes around 5-10 business days. In peak times it's closer to 10 days so please be patient. If you're unsure where your package is, please get in touch and we will provide an update. We will provide a tracking number a few working days after the order has been processed.
Can they be used in children's rooms?
Many customers use them as bedroom night lights thanks to the customisable timers on the models we offer, along with adjustable brightness levels and quiet operation. However, it should be noted that they are not toys and adult supervision is always recommended for young children.
What should I do if my projector arrives faulty?
If you ever receive a faulty item from us, we will want to resolve this ASAP, please get in touch with us and confirm what the issue is - we will investigate and send a new unit out to you as soon as possible. We may ask for some photos/videos to confirm that the unit is faulty and not a possible set up error. We understand some of our projectors have many settings and it can be confusing at times!
